If you plan to take a trip this spring or just do more driving in general, a tire rotation is essential. This boosts performance, and it helps them wear down more evenly. Rotations also make your tires last a lot longer. And properly inflated tires are necessary for maintaining fuel economy, which is vital right now.  

Battery Test  

When’s the last time you tested your battery? They don’t last very long – only about five years or so. Testing it will let you know how much charge it has left. If it’s running low, you can be proactive about replacing it instead of doing it when you absolutely need to.   

Oil Change  

Another thing you may have been putting off is an oil change, especially if you didn’t do a ton of driving over the winter. The truth is that though mileage plays a role, time is perhaps the more important factor when it comes to oil changes, and this should be done about every six months.   

Windshield Wiper Replacement  

Your wipers may have seen better days, as the plastic could be cracked and the rubber frayed. Due to a lot of usage – or even just the rays from the sun – they don’t generally have a very long lifespan.
