The luxury sedan of the Lexus, embodying simplicity in style, ease and quietness of the ride, and the original midsize that is well-loved by both business and family man alike, has been the fastest-selling luxury Lexus sedan since its introduction. The Lexus ES 250 is the smallest version of this lineup. It is built with the Camry model in mind, particularly the 2.5 L model. A lot of people have noticed that the Lexus ES 250 goes directly against the Acura Legend. It is quite similar to the Camry that it was built upon, but had features that were a bit different. For instance, the taillights were bigger this time. The grill was more distinguished, and details such as the frame of the windows were taken out.

An automatic climate control system, as well as heated mirrors and even seats, more spacious interiors (though the weight was reduced), an improved drag coefficient, were standard of this model. Xenon High Intensity Discharge headlights, and reflector headlights instead of projector ones, were an option for your car. The platinum edition was also included for this model it had a power moon roof, wheels and interiors that had customization options.

The fourth generation of the Lexus ES 300 had features that were also offered on the Lexus LS 430. It had traction control systems, drive by wire electronic throttle, and many others. It garnered favorable crash test results with the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The Lexus ES 330 was a limited edition that was powered with a 3.3 L engine. It was available in special dark interior colors and had the top features of its most recent predecessor.

The Lexus ES 350 has a more graceful trim. It can accelerate to nearly 100km/h in about seven seconds or less. Apart from the high-end audio system, it also is already equipped with a backup camera with warning alarms.

The sixth generation of Lexus ES already introduced the hybrid system. The gasoline-powered one is still named Lexus ES 350, and the hybrid is called the Lexus ES 300h. It has the Remote Touch Interface and is patterned after the chassis of the Toyota Avalon, instead of all that preceded it, on Camry.
